I am a game dev that is finally working on games as a full-time thing.
Game Jams: I join in the Weekly Game Jam nearly every week, since discovering it.
Graphic Design: Recently, I have been making art for my games, because I have a certain feel I've been trying to establish in the games. No one else seems to want to do something other than pixel art, although there are some talented pixel artists out there.
Music: I cannot do music, to save my life. I have partnered with some composers who are rather talented in the music industry, and we're working hard to keep bringing new content to our games.
Programming: I have been programming since I was a child, but I never ended up being able to do it as a full-time job. Compilers, syntax, linking, etc. were all so different, back then. Now, I feel like it's nearly cheating to be able to use a standard like C++17.
Engines: I make a number of game engines on my own. There are two that are dedicated to a specific sort of feel that was needed for a few different 2D ORPGs. There are dozens of small engines I made for specific games, but I had never released those. If I searched really hard, I might be able to find them in some small, encrypted archive folder from 20+ years ago. I hope to recompile them, someday, so that they will work on modern machines.
That's all. I thought I would just leave a little info to give you the idea that I'm highly passionate about game design, and I plan to keep doing Game Dev forever.
Have fun, keep gaming!
